Ashley Zarah is a Los Angeles-based Iranian-American pop artist whose music bridges contemporary Western pop, Persian musical traditions, and multilingual storytelling. Born to Iranian-Jewish refugees who fled Iran during the Islamic Revolution, she was raised in a vibrant community shaped by both cultural richness and the legacy of trauma and displacement. At Berklee College of Music in Boston, she studied music production, engineering, and performance, while exploring Eastern musical traditions and microtonal music theory to reconnect with her Iranian roots. Moving between English, Farsi, and Hebrew, Zarah creates cinematic, emotionally charged pop that explores identity, womanhood, faith, and the complexities of the human experience, connecting audiences across cultures and generations.
