Recreation plays on the idea of humankind being made in the likeness of G-d, instead telling the story of recreating one's identity in the image of another person instead of a greater power. What happens when you relinquish yourself to mold in the likeness of another? In the pursuit of divine love, we often misplace our devotion to a lover rather to what is right, or simply to oneself. In the pursuit of divine love... sometimes we transform into whatever our partner desires, not realizing we have sacrificed ourselves and our own purpose on the way. Recreation also challenges the way we find the love we seek, the healthy curiosity we should have before attaching to another... and reframes passionate romance in pop music as something explosive and chemical that occurs with the right match, rather than succumbing to the manipulation of a devious snake.
