Ashley Zarah is an Iranian artist born and raised in Los Angeles, CA. Her Iranian-influenced pop music is intended to represent the sound of “Iranian-America,” fusing musical traditions to entertainingly heal trauma while showcasing the beauty and richness of Persian-Judean culture. Coining her genre as Dark-Pop; Zarah’s dissonant and Iranian-influenced pop music recognizes the constant relationship between color and darkness; bringing to light our darkest demons and proving they are the most fun to dance with - that no pain is worth the disposal of a life.
